Το τεύχος Απριλίου του Vogue Italia κυκλοφόρησε με ένα εντελώς κενό εξώφυλλο ως απάντηση στην εν εξελίξει κρίση της Covid-19.

Ο αρχισυντάκτης του περιοδικού, Εμανουέλε Φαρνέτι επιβεβαίωσε με ανάρτηση στο Instagram ότι παρ’ όλο που ετοιμαζόταν ήδη ένα τεύχος Απριλίου, μπήκε γρήγορα στο ράφι για να υπάρξει η κατάλληλη ανταπόκριση στα τρέχοντα γεγονότα.

Ο Φαρνέτι γράφει «το να μιλάμε για οτιδήποτε άλλο - ενώ οι άνθρωποι πεθαίνουν, οι γιατροί και οι νοσηλευτές διακινδυνεύουν τη ζωή τους και ο κόσμος αλλάζει για πάντα - δεν είναι στο DNA της Vogue Italia».
