? This #ChildrensHospiceWeek The Duchess of Cambridge, Royal Patron of @eachhospices since 2012, joined families to plant a garden for The Nook, one of EACH’s purpose-built hospices. Using plants bought during her visit to Fakenham Garden Centre last week, The Duchess worked alongside an EACH volunteer gardener and a family to plant a garden that will provide enjoyment for children and families. Throughout the pandemic EACH has continued to deliver end of life and emergency crisis care as well as bereavement support. Marking the end of Children’s Hospice Week, The Duchess also met with staff from EACH’s care and facilities teams to thank them for the incredible work that they do. Five years ago The Duchess of Cambridge launched @eachhospices’ Nook Appeal, which aimed to raise funds for a purpose-built children’s hospice near Norwich — today The Duchess officially opened The Nook in Framingham Earl! The new hospice contains more areas for clinical care and dedicated therapy rooms, allowing EACH to meet the increased demand for its service and the ever-changing and more complex needs of those it cares for. The Duchess attended the launch of The Nook appeal in November 2014, and visited the charity’s previous Norfolk hospice in Quidenham in January 2017, which served as a home-from-home for over 25 years. Speaking at today’s opening, The Duchess said: “You have created here at The Nook a nurturing, caring environment that allows families who are going through the unimaginable the ability to spend precious quality time with each other, comforted in the knowledge that their children are being looked after in the best possible way. EACH was one of the very first charities that I decided to become Patron of after my marriage. Whilst a lot has changed since then, my commitment and support for this wonderful organisation and the work that you do has not”. East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk and supports their families. Their care service includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family ? Today The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the launch of the @National_Emergencies_Trust_ — an independent charity which will provide an emergency response to disasters in the UK. The Trust will work collaboratively with charities and other bodies to direct public donations to their appeals, and to distribute funds fairly and efficiently at the time of a national emergency. Speaking at the launch, The Duke said: “Just now and on previous occasions, it has been humbling to speak to survivors of the London Bridge and Manchester attacks, the Cumbria floods, the Grenfell Tower fire and other disasters here in the UK. Their stories are as heart-breaking as they are inspiring. Their resilience and strength are deeply humbling. I am very pleased that the National Emergencies Trust now stands ready to provide a structured, organised response to help people right across the UK in the event of a domestic disaster.” ? At the start of #ChildrensMentalHealthWeek The Duchess of Cambridge visited @AlpertonCS to meet the UK’s first winner of the Varkey Foundation Global Teacher Prize, Andria Zafirakou, and find out more about the programmes the school runs to support both students and teachers with their mental wellbeing. The Duchess joined a roundtable discussion with teachers about students’ school readiness and teacher welfare, and joined students taking part in the Random Acts of Kindness Club, and dropped in on an art class to hear how the school uses art to enhance children’s confidence and creativity.

Έχει φορέσει κόκκινο, ροζ, ροδακινί αλλά όχι ακριβώς την απόχρωση του πορτοκαλιού ή του μανταρινιού.

 

 

Αν και οι περισσότεροι θεωρούσαν ότι δεν το φορά λόγω πρωτοκόλλου ή ότι δεν «γράφει» καλά στις φωτογραφίες, υπάρχει ένας άλλος λόγος που η Δούκισσα αποφεύγει το πορτοκαλί.

 

 

Σύμφωνα με την ψυχολογία των χρωμάτων, το πορτοκαλί συνδέεται με πολλά θετικά χαρακτηριστικά αλλά και αρνητικά.

 

 

Στα αρνητικά συγκαταλέγονται η επιδειξιομανία, η επιπολαιότητα, το φθηνό, η μη κοινωνικότητα και η περηφάνια.

 

 

Και επειδή, η δούκισσα του Cambridge, συχνά θέλει να περνά μηνύματα με το ντύσιμό της, δεν επιλέγει το πορτοκαλί για τις εμφανίσεις της.
