Critics Choice Awards 2023: Η ταινία «Everything Everywhere All at Once» απέσπασε πέντε βραβεία - όλοι οι νικητές (βίντεο)

Η ταινία «Everything Everywhere All at Once» που είχε τις περισσότερες υποψηφιότητες, συνολικά 14, βραβεύθηκε σε πέντε κατηγορίες στην 28 τελετή απονομής των Critics Choice Awards, των βραβείων που απονέμει η Ένωση Κριτικών (Critics Choice Association) αναγνωρίζοντας επιτεύγματα στην τηλεόραση και τον κινηματογράφο, τα οποία θεωρούνται προάγγελος των Όσκαρ.

Το φιλμ των Ντάνιελ Κουάν και Ντάνιελ Σάινερτ κέρδισε, μεταξύ άλλων, τα βραβεία Καλύτερης Ταινίας, Καλύτερης Σκηνοθεσίας, Καλύτερου Σεναρίου.

Παραλαμβάνοντας το βραβείο Καλύτερου Σεναρίου στην οποία κέρδισαν βετεράνους όπως οι Τζέιμς Κάμερον, Μπαζ Λούρμαν και Στίβεν Σπίλμπεργκ, ο Ντάνιελ Κουάν κράτησε τον φάκελο και έδειξε το δικό του όνομα και το όνομα του συνέργάτη του στο κοινό και ο Σάινερτ είπε: «Δεν είναι λάθος!».

Απευθυνόμενος στους συνυποψηφίους τους, ο Ντάνιελ Σάινερτ πρόσθεσε: «Ευχαριστώ όλους τους αφηγητές και τους κινηματογραφιστές που με ενέπνευσαν να γίνω σκηνοθέτης, είστε στην ίδια κατηγορία με εμένα. Αυτό είναι απεχθές! Γεια σας! Αλλά με εμπνεύσατε και αυτό σημαίνει πολλά. Και οι ταινίες σας έχουν αλλάξει τη ζωή μου».

Ο Κουάν ευχαρίστησε τη μητέρα του, η οποία ήταν η έμπνευσή του για την Έβελιν Γουάνγκ, την οποία υποδύεται Μισέλ Γεό στην ταινία. «Ήταν το πρώτο άτομο που φύτεψε τον σπόρο στο μυαλό μου ότι θα μπορούσα να γίνω σκηνοθέτης» είπε ο Κουάν. «Είναι ίσως η πρώτη Ασιάτισσα μετανάστρια στην Αμερική που είπε ποτέ στον γιο της να πάει σε Σχολή Κινηματογράφου».

Ο Μπρένταν Φρέιζερ κέρδισε το βραβείο Α' Ανδρικού Ρόλου για τον ρόλο του στην ταινία «The Whale» (Η Φάλαινα).

«Η Φάλαινα έχει να κάνει με την αγάπη. Πρόκειται για τη λύτρωση. Είναι το να βρίσκεις το φως σε ένα σκοτεινό μέρος» είπε εμφανώς συγκινημένος ο Φρέιζερ. Αφού ευχαρίστησε τους συμπρωταγωνιστές του, Χονγκ Τσάου, Ντάνιελ Σινκ, Τάι Σίμπκινς και τον σκηνοθέτη Ντάρεν Αρονόφκσι σημείωσε, σύμφωνα με το ΑΠΕ-ΜΠΕ:

«Ήμουν στην ερημιά και μάλλον θα έπρεπε να είχα αφήσει ένα ίχνος από τριμμένα ψίχουλα. Αλλά με βρήκες και, όπως όλοι οι καλύτεροι σκηνοθέτες, απλώς μου έδειξες πού να πάω για να φτάσω εκεί που έπρεπε να είμαι».
